Dharani Dharan G

Mr. Dharanidharan is the Director of Product Management at Careem, where he lead the cross-functional team responsible for the supply side of our ride-hailing, food and groceries, and last-mile delivery services across 10 countries in the MENA region. He comes with over 10 years of experience in product management and development, with a focus on mobile applications, data analytics, and agile methodologies.

His mission is to shape the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our network of 2 million Captains (drivers), and to improve their onboarding, growth, and retention. Some of his achievements include cutting down the time to onboard by using AI-based identity verification, increasing the daily active users and online hours, and enhancing user engagement and conversion on the website and mobile site.

He has worked with leading e-commerce brands like Flipkart and Snapdeal, and an early-stage startup called Melorra, where he gained valuable insights into digital content consumption and the E-commerce market.

He holds an MBA from IIM Lucknow and a B.E. in computer science from the College of Engineering Guindy. He is passionate about creating innovative and impactful products that solve real-world problems and deliver value to our customers and stakeholders.
